Assistant Site Manager – Birmingham
We are looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of construction projects across Birmingham and the surrounding area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career with a reputable, quality-driven construction contractor.
The Role:
As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to support the day-to-day running of site operations, helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the coordination of all on-site activities

Support the management of subcontractors and site operatives

Help ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements

Monitor progress against the programme and report any issues

Carry out quality checks and snagging works

Assist with site inductions, toolbox talks, and inspections

Support the management of site documentation, including RAMS and permits
About You:
-
Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or similar role
-
Background within the construction industry (main contractor experience preferred)
-
SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (or working towards)

Strong communication and organisational skills
-
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and progress
