SEND Support Assistant
Location: Bedford
Type: Temporary - until April or June (workload dependant)
Salary: £12.21 per hour – Weekly Pay, Term-Time Only
Hours: Part & Full Time hours - between 8.45am - 4.20pm

We are seeking experienced SEND Support Assistants to join our client’s team in Bedford from September. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a significant impact in a dedicated educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND.

Adapt learning activities and materials to meet individual needs.

Support pupils’ social, emotional, and educational development.

Assist in monitoring and recording progress.

Promote an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Requirements:

Level 2 in Maths and English & Level 3 qualification in care-based topic.

Enhanced DBS on the update service essential.

Experience working with young people, ideally with SEND.

Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
