We're recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join a well-established residential education centre in Perth, supporting young people during their stay. This is a full-time, temporary ongoing opportunity, offering structured hours, accommodation if required, and the chance to work in a positive, purpose-led environment.

Key responsibilities:
You'll support the day-to-day running of the kitchen that serves children and staff, including:
Maintaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene throughout the kitchen
Washing up, mopping floors, and keeping work areas safe and organised
Occasionally supporting the chef and assisting with food service
Working split day shifts (7.5 hours per day with a 1-hour unpaid break), 5 days out of 7
What we're looking for:
This role would suit a reliable catering assistant with experience working around food service:
A valid Disclosure Scotland PVG check
Food Hygiene Certificate and Food Allergen training
Previous catering experience, ideally in a structured or residential environment
A responsible, team-focused approach and a positive attitude
