We are looking for a friendly and organised Reception Assistant to join our clients clinic team. You will be based at a secondary reception desk, supporting patients who may need guidance, answering the inpatient phone line and carrying out ID and verification checks before directing enquiries to the right nurse or team member.
The role also involves handling simple queries through our patient app, such as booking appointments or prescriptions and offering occasional face-to-face support in the waiting area.
This is a Monday to Friday role with shifts rotating week on week between 8am–4pm, 9am–5pm and 10am–6pm.
There is clear progression from this role into Patient Advisor (£28k) Senior Patient Advisor (£32k) and future management opportunities within the clinic.
Key responsibilities:
Welcome visitors and provide guidance or support in the waiting area
Answer inpatient calls and manage ID and verification checks
Handle basic queries through the patient app, including appointments and prescriptions
Direct complex enquiries to the appropriate team member
Maintain accurate records of interactions
