Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Tendring, Essex
Hours: Full-time / Part-time (flexible)
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to work in schools across the Tendring area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
The Role:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND), where required
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for education and supporting learners
Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
