School Receptionist / Administrator (School Experience)

Principal Education is recruiting an experienced and School Receptionist / Administrator to support schools across South London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong front-of-house experience in an educational setting who understands the pace, professionalism, and confidentiality required in schools.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with Bromcom experience or proven school-based admin/reception backgrounds.
The Role
You will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, playing a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. Responsibilities may include:
Managing the school reception and welcoming visitors
Handling incoming calls, emails, and parent enquiries
Using Bromcom for attendance, pupil records, and admin tasks
Supporting admissions, data entry, and general school administration
Liaising with teaching staff, SLT, and external agencies
Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding standards at all times
These are full-time, long-term roles (Monday–Friday), offering stability and consistency within the school environment.
Essential Requirements
You must be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience as a school receptionist or administrator
Bromcom experience (highly desirable)
Strong organisational and communication skills
A calm, professional, and approachable manner
Understanding of safeguarding in a school setting
Right to work in the UK
A recent Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Based in South London or able to commute reliably
Pay & Benefits
£110 – £140 per day, depending on experience
