Temporary Administration Assistant required on a 3-6 month contract to join a friendly and supportive Customer Service team in Bury St Edmunds. Paying around £12.21 per hour, working 36.5 hours per week Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 with a 12:30 finish on Fridays!
Key Administration duties for this position include but are not limited to:
Processing and accurately inputting customer orders using the IFS system
Chasing missing information, pricing, POs and proforma payments to progress orders
Following up on blocked orders and outstanding payments
Processing new customer account set-ups and maintaining customer records
Issuing and chasing order confirmations and quotations
Liaising with Logistics to update consignee details and delivery dates
Supporting the customer service team and carrying out general administrative tasks
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this position:
- Proven data entry and administration experience
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Organised, efficient, and able to manage workload effectively
- Confident using computer systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt within a fast-paced environment
