CMA is delighted to be partnering with an engineering and design business based near Ringwood to recruit an Accounts Assistant on an interim basis.
This role has arisen to provide additional cover during a period of maternity leave and offers an excellent opportunity to join a small, close-knit finance team.
The successful candidate will support a range of transactional finance activities and work closely with both the finance function and wider business. This opportunity is paying up to £15 per hour.
What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
Supporting the subcontractor ledger, including processing and payment preparation
Managing sales and purchase ledger activities, supplier accounts, and query resolution
Performing reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
Liaising with internal stakeholders and reporting directly to the Managing Director
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
Comfortable working across sales and purchase ledger duties
Experience using Xero would be advantageous but is not essential
Able to start immediately and commit to an interim assignment of at least three months
