About the role
We are working with a well-established insurance business based in Mansfield who are looking to recruit a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Assistant. This is a flexible opportunity, open to both full-time and part-time candidates, offering a supportive environment and varied day-to-day responsibilities.
This role would suit someone with solid transactional finance experience who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
Key responsibilities

Processing purchase and sales invoices

Bank reconciliations

Credit control and allocation of payments

Assisting with month-end processes

Maintaining accurate financial records

Supporting the wider finance team with general accounts administration
About you

Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role

Confident using accounting software and Excel

Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team

Experience within insurance or financial services would be advantageous, but not essential
What’s on offer

Salary of £28,000 – £30,000 FTE (depending on experience)
