We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading and prestigious packaging company located in Eye, Suffolk. Due to their continued growth and success, they are seeking to employ a Order Processing and Office Admin Assistant to start in the New Year.
Competitive salary offered dependent on experience.
Hours will be Monday to Friday – 7.30am – 4.30pm.
Purpose of the role
To be responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties for the Senior Operations Team
Responsibilities and Duties
Sales Order Processing - Glass
Work with Transport and Warehouse Supervisors to ensure the smooth process of inputting sales orders and following through where questions/problems arise
Creating and updating Excel Spreadsheets, including.
Driver timesheets
Third Party Haulier costs
Accidents and near misses
Collating paperwork and statements for accidents and near misses
Responsible for all company notice boards, ensuring information is up to date
Assisting with organisation of Employee Surveys and collecting and collating information and populating spreadsheets
Daily task of checking for recorded telephone messages and ensuring these messages are passed to the correct people
Ordering site consumables and tracking costs via Excel spreadsheet
Other job requirements:
When time permits, assist Finance with data inputting tasks
Where experienced, cover for holiday and sickness periods
