Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Cleaner to provide temporary sickness cover at a school in Castleford.
The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school premises, ensuring a safe and clean environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities

General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting

Emptying bins and replenishing cleaning supplies

Following health & safety and safeguarding procedures at all times

Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
Essential Requirements – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
⚠️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is REQUIRED

You MUST already have an Enhanced DBS

The DBS MUST be registered on the Update Service

Applicants without this will NOT be considered

A DBS cannot be applied for through this role
This is a strict requirement due to the school environment.
