About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Leader to support daily warehouse operations . This role is ideal for someone who brings strong warehouse leadership experience from outside organisations, understands the pressures of material picking and despatch, and can help elevate warehouse standards, processes and performance.
You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality service across the warehouse operation while providing frontline leadership and supporting daily Tier 2 meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring safety, quality and service levels are consistently met
Provide strong frontline leadership and oversight of warehouse teams
Run and participate in Tier 2 meetings, working closely with cross‑functional teams
Monitor daily performance rates and operational metrics
Collect, analyse and collate warehouse performance reports for senior leadership
Ensure full compliance and effective working practices within the SAP system
Support and maintain warehouse best practices, bringing external experience and improvements
Provide operational guidance on material picking, stock movement, despatch and workflow management
Promote a positive, safety‑first culture across the warehouse
Experience & Skills Required
Essential
Strong warehouse leadership/supervisory experience
Solid background in warehouse operations, picking, despatch, and material handling
Experience working within or alongside SAP systems (ideally during/after an implementation)
Ability to manage performance, collect data and prepare reports
Strong communication and people leadership skills
Desirable
Experience implementing or optimising SAP warehouse processes
Exposure to continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to influence warehouse standards and coach teams on best practices
