Our Primary schools within the Ormskirk/Skelmersdale area are seeking a dedicated professional with years of experience in supporting children. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students.
*Position: KS2 Teacher*
*Location: Ormskirk/Skelmersdale Area*
*Start Date: asap*
*Hours: Monday – Friday (08.30am – 16.00pm)*
*Year: Various *
*Pay: £117.67 - £173.71 (Depending on experience)*

*Role & Responsibilities:*
* Plan and deliver individualized learning programmes for students with cognitive and learning difficulties.
* Use a variety of teaching strategies and interventions to engage and support diverse learning needs.
* Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to implement effective Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Monitor student progress, set achievable targets, and provide detailed feedback to parents and carers.
* Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
* Adapt teaching materials and resources to ensure accessibility for all students.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to support staff working within the SEND department.
*Qualifications Required:*
* Qualified Teacher Status
* In depth knowledge of the curriculum
* Teaching experience across all key stages
* Flexibility, adaptability and confidence
* Strong classroom management skills
* An enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS
* Provide a full work history and references to cover a minimum of 5 years
