*Vet Surgeon Opportunity - Westbrook Vets. Warrington, Cheshire.*
We’re looking for an enthusiastic vet to join our exciting, independent, young practice, with the opportunity to come in and make a real impact.
Our practice is thriving and has grown considerably since we opened three years ago. We’ve made a real link with the Warrington community, as can be seen by our over 300 five star Google reviews.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a difference and feed into a growing culture as our fourth vet, to work flexible hours in a friendly team giving a great service to clients from a soon-to-be-expanding practice, and to have the scope to grow their career in any direction as our group grows.
Sounds good doesn’t it?
Our practice lead, Niall Armstrong, joined the North Star group in 2023 and has recently been promoted to lead the Westbrook team – proof that we empower ambitious vets to shape their career at our practices.
Between the Westbrook team and our sister practices Burford Lane and Sandymoor we have a vast array of experienced support and mentoring close at hand. Should you have a special interest, we’re fully committed to your CPD as well as investing in equipment needed to support that.
Your role will involve a shared rota of consulting and operating, although a bias can be supported. What we do want is a candidate who is capable of developing a good relationship with the local community, to become a well known and trusted face for the practice.
We’re building a practice that is centred around what works for people. We pride ourselves on recognising that the definition of support can be very different depending on a person’s situation, and we do everything we can to show flexibility in how we provide it.
That means members of our Westbrook team work four days out of five with a dedicated day off every week, and we outsource our out of hours work to protect our team’s work-life balance.
Our fellow North Star practices, Burford Lane and Sandymoor, are both within 30 minutes drive, meaning support is available should the unexpected occur.
The relationships we build with our clients are very natural – and the reason for that is we care so much, and what we do is authentic. You can see from our Google reviews that this isn’t just talk. We’re really making an impact. Check them out here: https://bit.ly/487m7e4
We are continuing to build a practice that encourages a collaborative and supportive team approach that helps our team members thrive. Full-time members of our team work four days out of five with a dedicated day off every week and we outsource our out of hours work to protect our team’s work-life balance.
A good sense of humour is essential, baking skills are optional but highly desired.
If this all sounds like it could be for you, we would love to hear from you!
