*About the Role*
We are seeking an experienced roofing professional with a passion for teaching to join our training team as a Roofing Tutor. You’ll deliver high-quality training, mentoring, and assessment to learners at various skill levels, helping to prepare the next generation of roofers for successful careers in the industry.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Deliver engaging and practical training sessions in roofing techniques and safety standards.
* Support and assess learners in both classroom and workshop/site environments.
* Develop lesson plans, training materials, and assessments.
* Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support learner progress.
* Ensure all training is delivered in line with industry regulations, standards, and awarding body requirements.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in the roofing trade
* Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and roofing best practices.
* Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
* Teaching or training qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) desirable – or willingness to work towards one.
* Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA) is an advantage.
