Construction and fit-out Contractor are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Administrator to provide administrative and operational support to their project team.
This role is office based in Basildon and requires a confident, proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and experienced in handling project documentation, client communication, scheduling, and internal coordination.
Strong Excel, Microsoft Office, and Adobe skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Email clients with project detailsand key contact information; schedule relevant information into Outlook calendars.
• Book travel requirements for project teams, including flights, hotels, and transport.
• Acknowledge purchase orders and enhance client communication processes.
• Provide after-care support by following up with clients once project works are completed.
• Place online orders for project materials and equipment.
• Chase suppliers for RAMS and competency documents; liaise with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Communicate project updates clearly to clients and internally.
• Update and maintain the quote register and other project tracking documents.
• Raise quotations on behalf of the team when they are working onsite.
• Follow up with Project Managers to ensure quotations are issued within agreed timeframes.
• Print and extract drawings and documentation for larger projects and tenders.
• Take accurate minutes during project meetings.
