We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment. *Duties*
* Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
* Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand their care plans.
* Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
* Support infection control protocols by sterilising instruments and managing clinical waste appropriately.
* Offer reassurance and support to anxious patients, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
* Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow within the practice.
* Stock and organise dental supplies, notifying management when stock levels are low.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting is desirable.
* Good command of English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
* Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
* Knowledge of nursing practices relevant to dental care is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.
