This leader is responsible for identifying, hiring, mentoring, leading, and developing talent to staff the sales team for both short and long-term success. In addition to the achievement of the sales targets, the VP is responsible for assigning resources, or in some cases directly supporting, client retention and expansion efforts to optimize turnover and profitability.
