*Purpose of the Job:*
We are looking for an qualified and experienced Commercial and Domestic Gas Engineer to carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of gas systems and appliances in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be Gas Safe registered and have a strong understanding of gas safety regulations and industry best practices.
*Key Responsibilities:*
The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however KSD Support Services Ltd may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.
* Install, test, and commission domestic and commercial gas appliances (e.g. boilers, heaters, cookers);
* Install associated pipework, controls, and ventilation systems.
* Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on gas systems and appliances;
* Diagnose and repair faults on gas systems including boilers, radiators, hot water systems, and commercial plant rooms;
* Carry out routine servicing in line with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
* Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safe regulations and health & safety standards;
* Complete relevant documentation (e.g., Gas Safety Certificates, risk assessments, job sheets);
* Attend and resolve emergency call-outs as required.
* Liaise professionally with customers and clients, providing clear communication regarding job progress, issues, and outcomes;
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in clients’ homes or business premises.
*Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:*
* Valid Gas Safe Registration (with relevant categories for both domestic and commercial work);
* Relevant ACS qualifications such as: -
o CCN1 (Core Gas Safety)
o CENWAT (Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters)
o CPA1 (Combustion Performance Analysis)
o COCN1 or CODNCO1 (for commercial gas work)
* Proven experience in both domestic and commercial environments;
* Full Clean UK Driving Licence;
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent;
* Knowledge of Building Regulations and British Standards;
* Experience with controls and Building Management Systems (BMS).

*Additional Information:*
* The role will involve working a 45 hour per week. You must be flexible with working days/hours, working away, early starts, late finishes and some weekend work;
