Job Title: Call Centre Advisor (Temporary Contract)
Location: Alcester (Fully Office-Based)
Contract: Temporary, 15th December – End of January
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a confident and customer-focused Call Centre Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, has excellent communication skills, and can quickly identify the nature of a call to ensure it is directed appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner
Gather accurate and relevant information from callers
Record call details clearly and efficiently
Identify calls that fall outside the team’s remit and provide appropriate signposting to the correct department or service
Maintain high levels of customer service at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support smooth call handling and customer experience
About You:
Strong communication and listening skills
Confident telephone manner
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the contract
Previous call centre or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
