*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections using schematics and technical manuals
* Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension systems
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly and repair tasks
* Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to diagnose issues accurately
* Carry out welding and equipment repair as required for vehicle restoration or modification
* Assist with vehicle assembly processes and component installation
* Perform heavy lifting tasks safely during parts replacement or repairs
* Maintain detailed records of all work carried out for each vehicle
* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
* Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in vehicle repair or maintenance, with a solid understanding of mechanical systems
* Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams
* Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
* Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive components and systems
* Ability to perform assembly tasks efficiently and accurately
* Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle types
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in confined spaces or awkward positions
* Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
* Mot testing licence preferred
