We are dedicated to providing reliable transportation services to our passengers and a first class private hire service to clients. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, we strive to maintain the highest standards in our operations.
We also have a thriving repair and MOT Testing service for private vehicles and due to rising demand we are looking to expand our team on this side of the business
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
* Conduct inspections, testing, and evaluations to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition
* Replace parts and components as needed, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
* Supervise a small team of apprentice mechanics and nurture their talent
* Ideally, be qualified in carrying out MOT testing (but training may be provided for the right candidate)
* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all clients' vehicles are handled with care
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience as a mechanic
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to handle various tools and diagnostic equipment
* Valid driver’s license (clean driving record)
* Certification from college or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work as part of a team
