*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our passionate, growing team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct swimming lessons for various age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
* Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.
* Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and guidelines.
* Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their swimming skills.
* Maintain a clean and organised teaching area, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
* Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in swim teaching is highly desirable. Must hold a Swim teaching Qualification either from Swim England or the STA.
* A strong understanding of swimming techniques and safety practices is essential.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages.
* A friendly and approachable demeanour that fosters a positive learning environment.
