*Overview:*
We are seeking a dedicated and professional *Advanced* *Dental Nurse* to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will be a *qualified or experienced dental nurse* who is confident working in a busy clinical environment and keen to develop their skills in advanced areas of dentistry.
This role offers a varied and rewarding workload, with exposure to *implants, orthodontics, and restorative treatments*, as well as opportunities to take on *Treatment Coordination *duties and assist with *referral coordination*.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide chairside assistance during a range of dental procedures including *implants, orthodontics, and restorative treatments*.
* Maintain high standards of infection control and ensure all clinical areas comply with CQC and practice policies.
* Support the clinical team in delivering a smooth, efficient workflow throughout the day.
* Undertake *Treatment Coordinator (TCO)* activities, including patient communication, follow-up, and treatment planning discussions.
* Assist with *referral coordination*, ensuring all referrals are processed, tracked, and managed efficiently.
*Requirements:*
* Qualified Dental Nurse with *GDC registration*, or an experienced nurse working toward qualification.
* *Full-time availability*, including the ability to work *Saturdays* (rota basis).
* Experience or strong interest in *implants, orthodontics, and restorative dentistry*.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Confident using dental software and IT systems (training can be provided).
* Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a patient-focused approach.
*Desirable:*
* Previous experience in *TCO or referral coordination*.
* Additional qualifications (e.g., radiography, sedation, or implant nursing) would be advantageous.
