Full job description
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers / Carers to assist a young person with Autism, ADHD, and a Learning Disability. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license, access to a car, and business insurance.
Role Requirements:

Must have at least 6 months of recent care experience

Must have experience working with individuals with autism or learning disabilities

Able to manage challenging behaviour with a calm and patient approach

Experience using PECS and Now & Next communication tools is desirable

Must be confident supporting in the community (2:1 support)

Must be proactive in engaging the young person in outdoor and sensory activities (walks, soft play, swimming, etc.)
Shifts:
-
Friday: 17:00–19:00
-
Saturday: 10:00–13:00
-
Sunday: 10:00–13:30pm
