Junior Credit Analyst – Cape Town
One of our clients, a leading Commercial Finance Corporation, is urgently looking to appoint a Junior Credit Analyst for their office in Tygerberg, Cape Town.
Responsibilities
- Credit risk assessments.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, bank statements, debtors, creditors analysis, scorecards, and other data sources.
- Analysis and reporting of monthly production numbers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years experience in a commercial credit environment.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, credit scoring models, and accounting software.
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and make sound credit decisions.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing credit limits and assessing risk.
- Understanding of the company’s industry sector and market trends affecting credit risk.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
