Are you an enthusiastic IT professional with a passion for delivering top-notch support to diverse customers? Our client is looking for a Remote Support Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will primarily provide remote support and maintenance services on desktops—and occasionally servers—across a variety of Wintel technologies. You will also have the opportunity to visit client sites for ad-hoc consulting and SLA visits, so a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Remote Support & Troubleshooting :
Respond to and resolve incidents detected by our Network Operations Centre’s monitoring tools, while supporting 1st line incidents and requests on Windows 10 and 11. - Onsite Consulting :
Conduct occasional onsite visits to client environments for troubleshooting, consulting, and planned SLA visits. - Systems Maintenance & Upgrades :
Assist with changes and minor projects such as version upgrades, patch management on endpoints and servers, and general system maintenance. - Collaboration & Communication :
Work closely with peers and communicate effectively with external stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery. - After-Hours Coverage :
Participate occasionally in after-hour support rotations under supervision or in a shadowing capacity.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years’ IT Support experience in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience providing remote desktop support on Windows 10 and 11.
- Basic Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022) knowledge, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and File & Print.
- Proven patch management experience for both endpoints and servers.
- Fundamental understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, and routing.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with confidence in face-to-face interactions.

- N+ Certification
- Microsoft Certification (e.g., MD-102: Endpoint Administrator, MS-900: 365 Fundamentals)
- Exposure to or certification in Endpoint Security
