What will be your role and responsibilities?
- Mentoring and Supporting junior team members
- Ensuring standards & quality of deliveries from team
- Support optimisation and sustainable processes and methodologies
- Develop and operate production ready business applications
- Liaise with customer, team members and external vendors
- Deploy applications in AWS (via GitLab and with scripting and automation)
- Monitoring and operation of applications within AWS CloudWatch
- Applying cloud-security patterns and concepts to the solutions and deployments
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM)Team Charter
Essential skills requirements:
- Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, Cloud Architecture and Container Architecture
- At least 6 years' worth of experience using back-end technologies such as Python, Node.js and Java
- Experience with the following cloud technologies:
- Azure/Google Cloud/AWS (AWS is strongly preferred)
- Kubernetes (EKS, AKS or Self-Managed)
- AWS API Gateway, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS, S3
- Automated deployment and configuration of components and systems
- IaaS knowledge, e.g. deployment and maintenance of Linux VMs
- Virtual networks, including communication with on-premises networks
- Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (design, configuration, and operation)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Monitoring, log analytics and observability
- Experience with SQL Databases (PostgreSQL or others)
- Experience with Web Services Design & Deployment, REST and GIT
- Experience with Design / Architecture Patterns
- Experience CI/CD Tools like GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Advantageous skills requirements:
- Experience with E-mobility
