An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-regarded construction and property services contractor as a Health and Safety Advisor. The organisation have a turnover of over 80 million, and are looking at expanding the health and safety team due to company growth. This role will suit an individual who is looking to grow and develop with a forward thinking construction company.
Responsibilities for the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Advisor will include:
- Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation
- Visiting site and engaging with managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Health and Safety related enquires
- Assist with training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents where required
- Conducting audits and inspections. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in health and safety performance
The successful Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Advisor will have:
- Experience in a similar role ideally within construction, property or building maintenance.
- Hold a NEBOSH Qualification
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders
