Streetworks Planner
Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Streetworks Planner / Coordinator.
This is a great position to join a very successful civil engineering and utilities contractor who due to continued growth is looking to recruit a streetworks planner.
The position is office based from Portsmouth.
The Role:
- Assisting the Project Manager in planning the work
- Liaising with managers and supervisors
- Communicating with highway authorities, traffic management companies and site meetings
- Applying for opening / closing streetworks permits
- Applying for temporary traffic road order (TTRO), parking, bus stop, loading bays and taxi rank suspensions
- Recording registration, defects and fixed penalty fines
- Ensure site management is aware of and provided with up to date permit numbers
Requirements:
- Ideally you will be organised with strong communication skills
- Experienced working within a project planning, coordinating position
- Experience with streetworks permits
- Experience liaising with highway authorities and traffic management companies
Salary:
- 35,000 - 40,000
