Role: Trainee Plastic Operative
Location: Leeds
Salary: 24k per annum
Shifts: Days regular, Monday-Thursday
Metalis are currently in partnership with a well-established manufacturing company based in Leeds. Due to continuous growth, our client is looking to hire an enthusiastic individual to train up in their plastic department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working in the plaster room learn to correctly fill empty casts with plaster.
- Vacuum moulding.
- Trimming and polishing the plastic components.
- To learn and understand the processes within the manufacturing facility.
- Tidy workspaces daily to ensure a clean environment.
- Adhere to QA and health & safety requirements.
Education and Training:
- To keep up to date with the manufacturing and production developments specifically within the industry.
- To ensure compliance with QA and health & safety requirements.
- Some experience in the manufacturing industry.
Shifts & Salary:
- 4 day working week, Monday - Thursday 9.5 hours a day.
- 24k per annum.
- Full training provided over a course of time.
- 12 weeks temporary to permanent role.
