reach customers around the world. As an Amazon Global Selling Account Manager,
you will play a crucial role in driving the success of European sellers as
they expand their reach on Amazons global marketplaces.
The Opportunity
The Amazon Global Selling team supports the expansion of European sellers to
the US marketplace. As an Account Manager, you will closely consult with
European brands to onboard them onto Amazon US and provide expertise on
listing optimization, advertising & promotions, logistics, and other best
practices. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Amazon teams to
accompany Sellers development and drive their growth from a local to an
international level.
In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for recruiting, supporting,
and managing strategic third-party Sellers from Europe that want to grow their
businesses to a global level. You will leverage your analytical and commercial
skills to provide in-depth business analysis and effective account management
for key sellers.
As the main point of contact for these partners, you will manage the day-to-
day relationship, ensuring they are fully competent on Amazons selling tools
and familiar with our wide range of products and services. You will identify
opportunities to increase their revenue across Amazons global marketplaces
and help them maintain our high customer experience standards.
Additionally, you will collect sellers feedback, escalate issues, and drive
cross-functional teams to prioritize and deploy timely solutions to support
improved processes and Seller experience.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree or equivalent, or experience in sales or account
management work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to successfully influence at all levels within an organization
• A passion for developing an engaging customer user experience and ability to
translate customer needs into business and product requirements
• Superior communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment
• High attention to detail and the management of multiple, competing
priorities simultaneously
• Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others.
• Confident in using data for analytical purposes – e.g. excel - and project
management skills
• Creative, takes initiative and can constructively advocate on behalf of the
customer
