Job Title: Senior Process Project Engineer

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: - Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in process engineering, with at least 3 years in a project management or senior engineering role.
- Process Design Expertise: Extensive experience with process design, simulation tools, and optimization techniques, including proficiency with tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or similar.
- Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
Beneficial requirements: - Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, with experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously and knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex engineering challenges and make data-driven decisions.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage process engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all project deliverables meet client requirements, schedules, and budgets.
- Process Design & Optimization: Develop and optimize process designs, including flow diagrams, process simulations, and detailed specifications, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, operations, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project execution and resolve any technical issues.
- Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify and assess potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop effective mitigation strategies to address any challenges or process disruptions.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives, utilizing lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to increase productivity and improve overall system performance.
