Reporting to the Associate Director (TCSP), the Client Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial accounts of multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves preparing financial statements, handling tax filings, and providing financial advice to clients. Specific duties will include:
- Manage the financial accounts of multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for clients
- Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Provide financial advice and support to clients, helping them make informed business decisions
- Conduct regular financial reviews and audits for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive financial services to clients
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings for clients
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for financial matters
The ideal candidate for the role of Client Accountant will be:
- ACCA or ACA qualified or relevant degree in Finance, business or related fields
- Proficiency in accounting software, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of how to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Organisational and time management skills
- Be versatile and adaptable
