Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company, providing guests with exceptional customer service and promoting the company's products and services
- Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors and businesses in each port of call to ensure a variety of shopping options for guests
- Conduct research on each port of call to identify the best shopping opportunities and create shopping guides for guests
- Host shopping seminars and presentations on board the ship to educate guests on the best shopping deals and products in each port
- Organize and lead shopping excursions for guests, providing them with personalized shopping experiences
- Assist guests with any shopping-related inquiries and provide recommendations based on their preferences and needs
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of onboard shopping areas, ensuring a diverse and well-stocked selection of merchandise
- Collaborate with other departments, such as entertainment and marketing, to promote shopping events and activities on board the ship
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and products in the retail industry to provide guests with the most current and relevant shopping information
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety and security regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Strong knowledge of the retail industry and current shopping trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a positive and flexible attitude
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Fluent in English, with additional languages considered an asset
- Must be able to travel and work on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
