The ideal District Sales Manager - Cape Town will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Team Leadership: Supervise and coach Medical Representatives, ensuring customer visits align with company targets.Conduct double visits (minimum 80% of field days) to monitor performance and provide actionable feedback.Facilitate training sessions to ensure promotional effectiveness and share best practices.
Sales Management: Develop and execute sales forecasts and resource allocation strategies.Regularly monitor team performance and initiate corrective actions to meet sales objectives.
Promotional Activities: Organize promotional events, seminars, and meetings to enhance product visibility and customer engagement.Ensure appropriate use of promotional materials and adherence to ethical guidelines.
Business Planning and Strategy Development: Conduct market and competitor SWOT analysis to identify business opportunities.Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to align field tactics with strategic goals.
Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmacies, distributors, and opinion leaders.Ensure the team adheres to the company's ethical codes and regulatory compliance standards.
Operational Excellence: Oversee team administration, expenses, and resource utilization to ensure compliance with company policies.Monitor the distribution network in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal District Sales Manager - Cape Town will fit the following profile: Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary, Life Sciences, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a District Manager in the pharmaceutical industry. Fluent in English and holding an active driver's license.
