Western Cape. Remote (cover the whole WC area) Solid experience in a senior sales role with excellent negotiation abilities and strong IT product knowledge secures Account Manager position with established company in the ICT sector. Experience within the Public and Municipalities, Agencies and Parastatals Sector is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of current clients, as well as to generate new business
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintain and grow market share within the Public and Municipalities, Agencies and Parastatals Sector
- Provide weekly feedback on pipelines and quotations as well as strategic initiatives for projects
- Conduct and submit monthly sales forecasting
- Prepare and provide clients with quotations and follow up on these quotations
- Ensure client is updated on deliveries and order progress as and when needed
- Do deliveries if required
- Provide after-sales support to clients
- Ensure internal training is up to date on a quarterly basis
- Attend sales meetings and marketing events
- Assistance as and when required with tender submissions
Requirements:
- Minimum Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
- At least 7 years relevant experience in a senior sales position within the Public and Municipalities, Agencies and Parastatals Sector
- Technical knowledge as per the following products: product knowledge including VOIP, audio visual, video conferencing, WIFI, networking, client computing and data centre solutions (Avaya, Microsoft, Crestron, Extron, Poly, CISCO, Huawei, Yealink, Audio Codes, HP, Dell, VM Ware)
- Existing client base ideal
- Excellent negotiation abilities
- Advanced Excel skills
