Support Operational Controls processes (Audits, Risk and DR BCM governance, business process improvements, performance management, and finance and business management), supply requested information, and implement corrective actions as applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
Backup and Recovery Management :
- Design, implement, and manage backup and recovery solutions using IBM technologies.
- Ensure the integrity and availability of backup data.
- Perform regular backup audits and health checks.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backup and recovery issues.
Operational Controls Support :
- Support and participate in audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery business continuity management (DR BCM) governance.
- Implement corrective actions based on audit findings and risk assessments.
Business Process Improvements :
- Identify and implement improvements in backup and recovery processes.
- Stay updated with the latest IBM backup and recovery technologies and best practices.

Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of IBM backup and recovery solutions.
- Proficiency in IBM Spectrum Protect (formerly Tivoli Storage Manager).
- Experience with various backup and recovery methods (full, incremental, differential).
- Knowledge of storage systems and SAN/NAS environments.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Strong scripting skills for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Shell, Python).
- Understanding of data protection principles and best practices.
