Job Title: Tender Engineer Asset and Maintenance Management

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: - Bachelors Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-10 years of experience in tender engineering, asset management, or maintenance within the maritime industry.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
- Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Beneficial requirements: - Proficiency in tender management software and tools, with excellent Excel and costing abilities.
- Strong knowledge of asset management principles and maintenance strategies in the shipping or marine sector.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Tender Preparation and Submission: Prepare detailed tenders and proposals for asset management and maintenance contracts, ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are accurately addressed.
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions, providing accurate cost estimates for maintenance services, asset management, and spare parts procurement.
- Asset Management Solutions: Design and propose tailored asset management strategies, including preventive maintenance, repair schedules, and lifecycle management for shipping vessels.
- Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure the integration of quality materials and services within the tenders.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all tenders comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and client requirements. Maintain thorough documentation for all tender processes and submissions.
