Contract Manager
The Contract Manager is responsible for managing the execution of Customer Contracts at RDM Boskop Site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coordinate all aspects related to the Artillery Charges Contracts;
- Manage all aspects of a sales order in the SAP environment;
- Manage designated contracts with regards to schedule, scope, and risks;
- Generate and maintain a delivery schedule with inputs from all stakeholders;
- Keep project stakeholders informed on progress and aligned throughout the course of the project by providing timely communication;
- Drive decision-making to ensure the contract moves forward;
- Monitor and ensure adherence to legal requirements, policies, procedures, and other RDM standards to ensure safety;
- Provide Marketing and Production support;
- Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers;
- Ensure effective and continuous communication.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- NQF 7 (Bachelor's Degree) qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years' experience in the management of contracts.
- Experience in defense-oriented products and projects would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict management skills.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizing skills.
- Experience in line management functions required.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
