Job summary:
An exciting career opportunity exists at Kawari Wholesaler for a Stock Clerk in the warehouse. This role will be responsible for Put Away and Replenishment of stock (Wholesale and Distribution) according to written SOPs and maintaining stock in the warehouse according to FIFO/FEFO.
Job Functions:
- Ensure that all daily functions and operations comply with KDC’s written SOPs, Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, and KDC’s Quality Management System.
- Adhere to good housekeeping practices.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO guidelines and report soon to expired stock to the relevant supervisor.
- Put away received stock according to company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with Good Wholesaling and Distribution Practices (GWDP).
- Replenish stock in the warehouse according to company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with Good Wholesaling and Distribution Practices (GWDP).
- Handle stock during put-away and replenishment processes to eliminate damages and report any such damages immediately to the warehouse manager.
- Assist with stock investigations.
- Assist with the removal of expired, recalled, and damaged stock from warehouse shelves.
- Perform any other tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor within the employee’s scope of employment.
- Participate in regular cycle counts and annual stock takes.
- Perform any ad hoc functions as instructed by the line manager.
- Prioritize large workloads.
- Maintain policy guidelines within pressured situations.
- Accept and take charge of projects allocated on short notice with strict timelines/deadlines.
- Willingness to work overtime during high-pressure periods.
- Demonstrate soft skills such as conflict management and time management.

Qualifications:
Grade 12 (Maths and Physics) / Meet minimum requirement to be enrolled as a learner basic.
Experience:
2-3 years’ experience within a pharmaceutical wholesaler.
