Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
Contributing to important business decisions, through analysing/reporting on data trends, and using trends to forecast business trends and customer behavior patterns. Presenting technical reports based on the collection, analysis and interpretation of data.
Key Performance Areas
- Data preparation and analysis utilising Visual Studio Code and Power BI
- Present i ng find i ngs that communicate trends, patterns, and predict i ons.
- Aid in creating internal audit models and reports to identify risks and risk areas
- Identify business opportunities through patterns and trends.
- Keeping Data Governance Documentation up to date and the maintenance of semantic models
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- Grade 12/Senior Certificate
- Tertiary degree in Analytics/IT/Finance or certification in Analytics from a reputable service provider
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years data analyst experience
- Financial industry (banking/finance/insurance) beneficial
- Power BI (Including, but not limited to Ingestion, Modelling, Transformations and Cleansing, and DAX Expressions)
- Microsoft Excel – Advanced Skills
Competencies (skills, knowledge and attitudes)

- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (especially SharePoint)

Package & Remuneration
Remuneration
- Toal cost to company monthly package of R40 000.00 - R45 000.00 (based on skills/experience).
- Company pension fund (5% Employer contribution and 5% Employee contribution).
- Group Risk Fund (death benefit) (contribution made by the Employer).
- Company Funeral Policy (contribution made by the Employer).
