Job Description
We currently have an exciting position available for a Senior Industrial Relations Consultant & Litigator to be based at our branch in Rustenburg.
You are responsible for:
- Retaining all clients as well as servicing clients in terms of all IR issues.
- Provide training to all clients as per LabourNet standards.
- All clients are visited and contacted as per the schedule.
These typical IR issues can range from:
- Chairing of disciplinary inquiries.
- Drafting of judgments for clients.
- Assist with the issuing of warnings to ensure compliance.
- Drafting and implementing of policies & procedures.
To more complex issues like:
- Strike Management.
- Dispute Resolution: drafting correspondence to clients, the CCMA/Council, Union Officials and other employee representatives; gathering and compiling evidence, analysing evidence and the preparation of witness testimonies; representing clients at conciliation, con/arb, and arbitration level as well as pre-arbitration proceedings; assist in settlement of disputes.
Package & Remuneration:
Salary: R22 950 CTC

Qualifications
You'll need a customer-first mindset and the following skills to succeed in this role:
- B. Degree or equivalent in HR/IR/LLB or related field.
- +2 years experience in Labour Law (consultations on retrenchments, strikes, chairing disciplinary hearings, dispute resolution, etc.).
- At least 6 LAPs completed (Internal applicants).
- Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of Labour Law.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must be able to effectively function within a pressurised and fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle is essential.
