Introduction
At Servo, we're seeking a skilled Toolmaker to bolster our team at the Port Elizabeth Plant. If you have a background in press shop operations and a knack for enhancing tooling efficiency, we want to hear from you.
As a Toolmaker at Servo, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining, repairing, and enhancing jigs, fixtures, and fittings for press tools and tooling dies. Your expertise will directly impact production output and efficiency, ensuring compliance with quality standards while minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities
- Providing swift support during tooling breakdowns to optimize production efficiency.
- Conducting routine maintenance and improvements to enhance tooling performance.
- Upholding safety standards and fostering a culture of safety in the Engineering Workshop.
- Collaborating effectively with the team and reporting maintenance activities promptly.
Minimum Requirements
- Trade tested Tool Maker with an N3 Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with OHS regulations, HIRA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
