What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar, cellar, and lounge
- Manage stock and storerooms, conducting regular inventories
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service
- Train and manage staff to maintain top-notch service standards
- Handle guest complaints swiftly and effectively
- Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless meal service
- Report to lodge managers and maintain open communication with Front of House and kitchen staff
- Present menus and wine lists with flair
- Assist with Guest Delight stops and special requests
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Guest Relations Officer and Restaurant Manager
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to host international guests
- Positive attitude and high energy – a true people person!
- Deep knowledge of wines and food service to upsell effectively
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with poise
- Flexibility to work split shifts and maintain a well-groomed appearance
- Valid driver’s license
