We are seeking an experienced
HR Manager to join our dynamic team at an OEM level in Johannesburg.
This role will focus on providing franchise HR support to the business, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities: - Managing HR operations for the franchise
- Overseeing and guiding management on employee relations
- Handling disciplinary actions and performance management
- Representing the company in DRC conciliations and arbitrations
- Providing employees with guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Engaging in union negotiations and maintaining strong labor relations
Requirements :
- HR Management (HRM) qualification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR Manager role
- Extensive experience in the motor industry and deep knowledge of the MIBCO Main Agreement
- Proven experience in union negotiations and handling employee relations matters
- Ability to manage complex HR issues professionally
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff
- Empathy and ability to handle sensitive, confidential matters
- Financial acumen, particularly in HR budgeting and payroll
- Excellent management and leadership skills
