We are a small firm that practices in various areas of the law, mainly family-related matters, labour matters and general litigation. We urgently need an admitted attorney to join our litigation department team, to start on 1st December 2024.
The attorney will be responsible for consultations, drafting of necessary legal documents, invoicing, Bill of Costs and court appearances.
Minimum Requirements:
- LLB Degree and admitted attorney
- Driving license and good driving experience
- At least 1 year post admission working experience in the above-mentioned areas of law.
- Good standing with the Legal Practice Council
- Fluency in English
- Good drafting skills
- Computer proficiency and sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Accurate and detail-oriented, systematic and disciplined.
- Timekeeping and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload whilst maintaining high quality standards.
Expected Gross Income: R20 000-00
