Job Description
A niche economics consulting company is seeking a part-time remote Bookkeeper/Administrator to support two directors. The time required is approximately 20 hours per month and is mostly remote, with the occasional need to work in the office.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping and basic account inputting
- Invoicing and payment administration
- Document compilation for tenders and proposals
- Basic correspondence with clients
- Screening for business opportunities
- People and intern management (e.g. updating contracts, orientating etc)
- Organisational tasks such as travel bookings, meeting arrangements etc
Additional skills that would be useful
- Website maintenance and creation of graphics for presentations and documents
- Editing and formatting of documents
- Writing proposals, screening for suitable business opportunities, and developing tenders
Requirements - Completed Matric or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in operations management to ensure smooth functioning of daily operations
- Willingness to provide administrative assistance to senior level professionals
- Experience within the consulting industry is a bonus, but not required
