Quality and Systems Manager (Production)
Established packaging company in Pinetown requires an experienced candidate to manage the quality team, systems, ISO 9001 for one of their divisions.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree minimum (Quality, or related)
- 5+ years Quality Management experience in either packaging, FMCG, plastics
- ISO 9001:2015 experience essential (implementation and management thereof)
- Experience leading an ISO 9001 audit
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong working knowledge of SHEQsys and MRM procedures
- FSSC 22000 experience advantageous
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement, review, ensure compliance to and maintenance of all Quality systems and procedures in the division. This includes ISO 9001
- Develop and execute an internal Quality audit program
- Actively implement continuous improvement projects
- Manage the Quality team (QC Inspectors)
- Ensure Quality Assurance with regards to raw materials and final products
- Reduce customer complaints
- Partner with Sales Managers to provide customers with outstanding service
- Assemble, analyse and report Quality statistics and trends and make recommendations
- Manage the MRM, DRM process
- Develop and carry out Quality training and education programs
- Establish and manage Quality budget
