Introduction

If so, we want you to join our team as a Quality Engineering Technician! As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness of our Quality Management Systems within the manufacturing operation. Your responsibilities will include maintaining process control, conducting internal audits, managing non-conformances, and enhancing customer satisfaction through proactive measures.
Responsibilities
- Quality management: Ensure documents are reviewed, controlled, and maintained as per procedures. Implement traceability and retention protocols. Develop training plans for mandatory quality requirements.
- Internal Audits: Conduct product and process audits according to customer requirements. Verify processes referencing control plans and close corrective actions. Review PFMEA and Control Plans regularly.
- Quality Patrol inspection: Ensure scheduled quality patrol inspections are completed promptly.
- Non-conformance management: Identify adverse trends and generate corrective actions. Utilize 8D methodology for problem-solving. Monitor corrective actions for top 5 scrap issues and manage supplier non-conformances.
- Customer satisfaction: Address customer complaints, provide feedback on containment actions, and initiate 8D reports for internal and external issues. Analyze monthly customer returns and display reports for transparency.
- Continuous improvement: Engage in continuous improvement projects and cross-functional teams to drive enhancements in quality processes and systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma or relevant Quality Qualification.
- Proficiency in Core Tools according to AIAG methodology.
- 3-5 years' experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Internal auditing experience in product and process.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Office suite and Minitab.
- Knowledge of automotive quality management system standards (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5).
- Ability to interpret drawings and apply problem-solving methodologies (G8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis).
- Experience in generating quality documentation (alerts, training materials, work instructions, SOPs).
